Who we are

Clean & Simple is Dave Lourens and Andrew Lang.

Dave, 32, has a Bachelor's degree in Journalism, majoring in journalism and sociology, and a Master's in Business Administration, majoring in finance and marketing. He was healthcare correspondent for South Africa's leading financial newspaper, Business Day, before moving into a public relations consultancy. He worked closely with Dr Henriette Coetzer in the launch and marketing of her range of managed care products, being responsible, inter alia, for the communications aspects of the chronic disease management programmes. He is currently Head of Performance in the Asset Management division of South Africa's largest merchant bank, SCMB.

Andrew, 31, has an Honours degree in Fine Arts, majoring in graphic design and psychology, and a Post-graduate Diploma in Advertising, specialising in art direction. He was an Art Director at two of South Africa's most prestigious advertising agencies, The Jupiter Drawing Room and Hunt Lascaris TBWA, before becoming Creative Director at Kreatology. He has won numerous international awards, including statues at the London International Advertising Awards, medals at the New York Festival of Advertising and four finalists at Cannes.
